My Journey: From Creativity to Energy Healing
I’m a graphic designer at heart.
Grew up immersed with communities that nurtured my creativity, spiritual beliefs and personal growth.
October 2009, I decided to leave the comforts of my home in Canada to pursue a life of self discovery.
I traveled to New Zealand which is now home. Did the corporate thing overall for a good 15+ years in marketing and design.
Attempted many side hustles in pursuits to fulfill my creative aspirations.
And started a family.
A Turning Point: My Healing Journey.
In July 2021, a routine checkup revealed a rare form of breast cancer.
There were no human words to articulate the level of shock and emotions that surfaced my entire being.
It didn’t make sense. It didn’t seem fair. But it was my reality.
This diagnosis was the biggest turning point of my life.
It had me look inward and reflect on the things I truly valued in life; My health, quality time with my husband and daughter, and a way to express my creativity.
My healing journey had me exploring various Energy Healing modalities. Yet there were two modalities that I continually circle back to and consider my cornerstone practices:
-
Qigong, I discovered Master Lin from Spring Forest Qigong and have taken on the practice of Qigong (a movement meditation practice) as a daily habit. It is the practice that has significantly supported my bodily energy levels physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually while navigating through my allopathic treatments.
-
Body Code, an Energy Healing modality using the Body Code mind map developed by Dr. Bradley Nelson, accessing our subconscious mind through way of muscle testing (a form of kinesiology), to identify and release trapped emotions and energetic imbalances in the body. I had found the Body Code back in 2015 out of curiosity and intrigue. Diving into topics of clearing energetic blocks for natural healing and being able to raise our vibrational frequency fascinated me.
Why Qigong & Body Code?
I’ve witnessed within myself and others how Qigong and Body Code can really transform lives by addressing the root causes of physical and emotional imbalances.
Since integrating these practices, my quality of life has profoundly improved:
- Minimized body stiffness, muscle ache and discomfort from medications and treatments.
- Enhanced energy levels and emotional balance (less moody, less triggered, minimal fatigue).
- I’ve adopted a very slowed down lifestyle, bringing me more present with my family life.
- With continued practice, I grow deeper awareness and capacity for personal growth, peace and balance.
While I am not a “master healer” or a “guru sage” living in the mountains with full conscious enlightenment.
I am human. Doing my best, to live my best life, with the resources that I have.
In saying that, I firmly believe that Energy healing has upgraded my life on so many levels.
I know all too well, having to navigate through feelings of uncertainty and the unknown, with regards to health matters.
After taking on Energy Healing as part of my lifestyle I’ve been feeling the call to share my perspective on topics of Energy Healing, Qigong, Body Code and everything in between.
Through the resources and learnings that I continue to dive deep in, I look forward to sharing more on the innate abilities we have within ourselves to heal.

Process
There are two primary jobs involved in creating a website: the web designer and web developer, who often work closely together on a website. The web designers are responsible for the visual aspect, which includes the layout, coloring and typography of a web page.
- User experience research
- Visual design and illustration
- Programming and coding

Web designers will also have a working knowledge of markup languages such as HTML and CSS, although the extent of their knowledge will differ from one web designer to another.

User experience is about how a user interacts with, and experiences, a particular product, system or service. As a UX designer, you should consider the Why, What and How of product use.
